From Oct 15 to Dec 7, anyone with Medicare can change plans. Changes take effect Jan 1, 2027. Take time to review your plan each year to make sure it still meets your needs. What does a review cost?
Nothing. The review is free. If you enroll in a plan, the insurance company pays me, and plan prices are the same whether you use an agent or sign up on your own.
Do you work for one insurance company?
No. I’m an independent agent, so I compare plans from several companies. I don’t offer every plan in your area; Medicare.gov and 1-800-MEDICARE can show you all of your options.
I’m happy with my plan. Should I still check it?
Yes, because plans can change every year: premiums, copays, the drug list, pharmacies and which doctors are in network. If your plan still fits, we keep it.
My parents prefer Urdu or Hindi. Can you help them?
Yes. I speak English, Urdu and Hindi, and family members are welcome to join the call or the meeting.
Do we meet in person or by phone?
Whichever suits you. I meet people across Cook, DuPage, Kane and Lake counties, and I’m happy to do the whole review by phone.
I’m turning 65. When should I call?
A few months before your birthday month is ideal. Your sign-up window opens three months before the month you turn 65; the finder above shows your exact dates.
What should I have ready?
Your Medicare card, your current plan card, a list of your prescriptions, and the doctors you want to keep.
Will you still help after I enroll?
Yes. Call me with questions about your coverage at any time of year.
